FAQ
A token distribution by a project to onboard users, reward early supporters, or decentralize ownership. It can be automatic (snapshot-based) or require actions during a claim window.
Requirements vary by project, but here are a few essentials:
Non-custodial wallets for the target chains (e.g., EVM + Solana) and, ideally, a hardware wallet plus a burner wallet for new dApps.
Gas + working capital
Security tools & hygiene: bookmark official sites, verify contracts in explorers...
Tracking: a simple spreadsheet or tracker to log tasks, tx hashes, points/snapshots, and claim dates.
Signals: follow the project’s site, docs, Discord, and X; set alerts; read credible community updates.
For a step-by-step tutorial, see our Airdrop Farming Starter pack
We curate projects based on credibility, product activity, traction, and risk signals. Listings are informational, not endorsements. Always do your own research.
Live: The program is ongoing (earn, qualify, or in-progress).
Near claim: Claim mechanics are expected soon (points/rewards likely converging).
Claiming: The claim window is open.
Early: Very early stage signals or programs worth watching.
Finished: Claim window is closed or program ended.
Eligibility criteria vary by project (snapshots, points/quests, on-chain activity, allowlists). Criteria could also be hidden. Check the guide or official docs linked on each card.
Pre-token scoring used by many projects to rank activity. Points do not guarantee a token; they are a signal that can convert into allocations or perks later.
Projects rarely announce snapshot times in advance. Keep regular activity if you want to stay safe; the guide notes snapshots only when officially disclosed.
Always use official links, verify the domain, check the contract in a reputable explorer, and confirm you’re on the correct chain. Avoid signing blind approvals.
Projects never DM for funds or private keys. Bookmark official sites, use a hardware wallet for claims, and revoke unnecessary approvals after interacting.
Tokens may be free, but you still pay network gas to claim or bridge. Gas can spike during popular claims; plan for higher fees and retry later if needed.
Some programs restrict regions or require KYC. If uncertain, read the project’s terms before interacting.
Sybil activity can get excluded. Most projects penalize obvious farming. Focus on genuine use; quality activity usually outperforms spam.
In many jurisdictions, yes (at receipt and/or disposal). We highly recommend to consult local laws or a professional for your situation.
Use Submit a project to share details (site, docs, socials, chain, status). We review quickly; inclusion remains editorial.
Hit Report an issue on the page and include the URL plus what’s wrong (status, link, chain, dates). We’ll fix it fast.
Continuously, especially around status changes and major announcements. Check back or join the Rektclub for weekly highlights.
Sometimes (exchanges, tools). Affiliate use never affects our editorial listing criteria.
Entries move to Finished once a claim period ends or the program is formally closed. Guides remain accessible for reference.
